The nominations for the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards were revealed today (Jan. 18), and many Latine singers made it into multiple categories. The top nominees include Shakira, Peso Pluma, Ice Spice, Karol G, and more.

This awards ceremony celebrates the most-played artists and songs across the brand’s radio stations. The most-nominated Latine artist at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards is Colombian pop icon Shakira, who has six nominations. In the Artist of the Year category, she faces competition from Taylor Swift, Drake, Miley Cyrus, SZA, and Usher. A few of Shakira’s nominations include “TQG,” her collaboration with Karol G. Their song is up for Best Collaboration. That category also includes Rema’s “Calm Down” remix with Selena Gomez. Ice Spice is there twice thanks to “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj and “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2” with PinkPantheress.

Peso Pluma is another top Latine nominee with five nominations. The Mexican superstar is up for Best Music Video with Yng Lvcas and their hit remix of “La Bebe.” Peso Pluma is also nominated for Regional Mexican Song of the Year for “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado. He also received nominations for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year and Best New Regional Mexican Artist of the Year. His competition in the latter category includes Gabito Ballesteros, Junior H, Grupo Frontera, and Gerardo Coronel.

Bad Bunny only received one nomination this year. The Puerto Rican superstar is up for Latin Pop / Urban Artist of the Year. His competition includes Feid, Karol G, Manuel Turizo, and Shakira. Shakira and Bizarrap’s “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53” faces “La Bachata” by Turizo, “Lala” by Myke Towers, “TQG,” and the “La Bebe” remix in the Latin Pop / Urban Song of the Year category. GALE, Bad Gyal, Mora, Yng Lvcas, and Young Miko are vying for Best New Latin Pop / Urban Artist of the Year.
