The nominations for the 2024 People’s Choice Awards were revealed today (Jan. 11), and Latine artists are taking over. Bad Bunny, Karol G, Peso Pluma, Ice Spice, Grupo Frontera, and more are competing in the main categories.

The People’s Choice Awards celebrates the best in music, TV, movies, and pop culture from the past year. In the music categories, there’s a tie between the most-nominated Latine artists this year. Bad Bunny and Karol G received four nominations each. Benito faces artists like The Weeknd, BTS’ Jung Kook, Post Malone, and Drake for Top Male Artist. Karol G’s competition for Top Female Artist includes Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat, her “Tusa” collaborator Nicki Minaj, and more. Karol G’s history-making Mañana Será Bonito and Bad Bunny’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana are up for Top Album.

In the Top New Artist category, Mexican superstar Peso Pluma and Dominican-American rapper Ice Spice represent the Latines. Música mexicana also takes over in the Top Duo/Group Category with both Grupo Frontera and Fuerza Regida nominated. The Top Collaboration category includes many Latine acts as well. Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma’s “Ella Baila Sola,” Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s “Barbie World,” Karol G and Shakira’s “TQG,” and Grupo Frontera and Bad Bunny’s “Un x100to” are up for the award.

To acknowledge the exponential growth of Latine music, the People’s Choice Awards added the Top Male and Top Female Latin categories this year. Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma face Bizarrap, Feid, Maluma, Manuel Turizo, Ozuna, and Rauw Alejandro in the former category. The latter category includes Karol G, Becky G, Anitta, Kali Uchis, Shakira, Young Miko, Ángela Aguilar, and Rosalía.

Fans can vote for their favorite artists now at the People’s Choice Awards website. The People’s Choice Awards will air live on NBC, Peacock, and E! on Sunday, Feb. 18.
