Karol G is entering her classical music era. Today (July 12), Italian icon Andrea Bocelli announced he’s releasing a new album called Duets, featuring Latine talents like La Bichota, Xtina, Jennifer Lopez, and more.

Throughout his historic career, Bocelli has popularized classical and opera music and is a staple in Latin America. In 1994, he released his debut album, Il Mare Calmo Della Sera. Since then, Bocelli has also scored numerous hits in English and Spanish. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of his music career, he will release the album Duets on Oct. 25, featuring music stars from all over the world.

“To mix voices, mix the vibrations, is for me a very exciting experience, sensual and spiritual at the same time,” Bocelli shared in a statement. “Something intimate and deep is established between the two voices that sing a duet. We singers are in constant search of colleagues able to give life to this alchemy.

A surprising inclusion on Duets will be Karol G. The Colombian superstar will join Bocelli on the song “Vivo Por Ella,” a Spanish version of the song “Vivo Por Lei.” In 1997, Bocelli first collaborated with Spanish singer Marta Sánchez on “Vivo Por Ella,” released on his album Romanza. It was also the soundtrack for the popular 1998 Mexican telenovela of the same name starring Victoria Ruffo and Saúl Lisazo.

Other Latine artists featuring on the Duets include Aguilera, who joins Bocelli on “Somos Novios,” and Lopez on “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás.” Aguilera and Bocelli’s collaboration is originally from his 2006 album Amore. Jlo and Bocelli recorded their duet in 2013 for his Passione album. Among the new duets on the compilation are Marc Anthony on “La Voce del Silenzio” and Sofia Carson on “Moon River.” Duets album will also include collaborations with Shania Twain, Céline Dion, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Laura Pausini, and more.

His 2024 tour will touch down in the U.S. on Dec. 4 at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA. Throughout that month, Bocelli will also visit Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; and Miami, FL.
