Karol G, Eslabon Armado & More Win Big at 2023 Premios Tu Música Urbano

On June 15, the 2023 Premios Tu Música Urbano aired live from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The award show, co-hosted by Gil López, Madison Anderson, and Rodner Figueroa, featured 32 categories this year. The leading artist with the most wins was Karol G, who won six awards. The runner-up for the most awards was none other than Feid with three.

La Bichota won six out of the nine nominations she was recognized for. The wins include Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Provenza,” and Album of the Year – Female Artist for her hit album Mañana Será Bonito.

Feid, the male artist with the most awards this year, won three out of 11 nominations. His awards include Top Artist – Male, Collaboration of the Year for “Yandel 150” with Yandel, and Album of the Year – Male Artist for Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos El Álbum.

Multiple artists took home two awards. Rauw Alejandro received the awards for Songwriter/Composer of the Year and Top Social Artist. As a duo, Wisin & Yandel won for Top Artist – Duo or Group and for Song of the Year – Duo or Group for “Besos Moja2” alongside Rosalía. Eladio Carrión won Top Rising Star – Male and Album of the Year – Rising Star for Sen2 Kbrn VOL.2. Other winners include Romeo Santos, Farruko, and Anuel AA.

Another notable winner is Elena Rose, who took home the award for Top New Artist – Female. Additional rising stars who were also recognized include Eslabon Armado, winning Top Artist – Regional Urban; Young Miko winning Top Rising Star – Female; and Yng Lvcas and Peso Pluma winning Remix of the Year for their “La Bebe Remix.”
