The biggest stars in Colombia’s reggaeton scene are joining forces. Last night, Karol G revealed she will appear in a new song with Feid, J Balvin, Maluma, and more.
Since wrapping up her Mañana Será Bonito Tour in July, Karol G has been in the recording studio working on new music. Last week, she started teasing a new song with her longtime producer Ovy on the Drums. In the video, Karol and Ovy are shown listening to a snippet of the song. J Balvin can be heard calling out the names of his fellow Medellín natives Karol G, Feid, Maluma, Ryan Castro, and Blessd.
Last night, Karol G confirmed the all-star collaboration in a post on Instagram. The announcement includes a photo of herself in the studio with Feid, J Balvin, Maluma, Ryan Castro, and Blessd. Ovy on the Drums and rising Colombian artist DFZM, who hails from Cali, are also photographed within the supergroup. The Instagram account of Colombian songwriter Keityn, who has co-written Karol G’s hits like “Tusa” and “TQG,” is also tagged in the photo.
Karol G’s song with her frequent collaborators will be called “+57,” which is the international calling code for Colombia. The collaboration will be released on Thursday, Nov. 7. Following the announcement, fans of all the artists mentioned have expressed their excitement online about the epic alliance. On X, one person wrote in Spanish, “The song by Feid, Karol G, Maluma, J Balvin, Ryan Castro, Blessd and DFZM is called ‘+57’ because it is the callsign of Colombia and is made by Colombian artists.” Another person posted one of DFZM’s previous verses and they suggested that he might steal the show in “+57.”

Karol G is still flying high on the charts with her merengue-infused hit “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” She is the most-nominated woman at the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards, up for eight awards. The 25th annual Latin Grammy Awards will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14 in Miami, FL.
