One of the biggest musical festivals in Mexico City unveiled its stacked line-up last night (Nov. 12). Vive Latino will return next year with acts like Paramore, Belanova, Maná, and Junior H are set to hit the stage this upcoming spring.
Vive Latino is an annual festival in Mexico City that highlights the legends and the rising stars in Latine music from throughout Latin America. The festival also mixes big names in pop music into the stellar line-up. The 2024 edition of Vive Latino will take place on March 16 and 17 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
The iconic Latine and Spanish acts on next year’s line-up include Argentina’s Babasónicos and Fito Páez, Spain’s Hombres G, Mexico’s Panteón Rococó and Maná, and Mexican-American group Los Lobos. Mexican electro-pop group Belanova will also perform at the festival as part of their string of reunion festivals. Paramore, Portugal. The Man, Scorpions, Bad Religion, Greta Van Fleet, and Future Islands are some of the non-Spanish-singing ensembles performing as well.
A few música mexicana acts will hit the Vive Latino stage, including corridos tumbados pioneer Junior H, Mexican-American singer DannyLux, and La Adictiva. Among the rising Latine acts on the bill are Mexican singer-songwriter Silvana Estrada, who won Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy Award last year, pop rocker BRATTY, folk artist Kevin Kaarl, and alternative rock group The Warning.
And this doesn’t even scratch the surface of the full bill for Vive Latino. Other stand-out artists on the line-up include Colombian rock group Diamante Eléctrico, Argentina’s Ysy A, Cabra from Calle 13, Instituto Mexicano Del Sonido, Uruguayan rocker Jorge Drexler, No Te Va Gustar, Venezuela’s Rawayana, and Sonido Gallo Negro.
A pre-sale for Citibanamex cardholders will go on sale on Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. local time in Mexico. Tickets for the general public will be released on Nov. 16 at 3 p.m.
