With the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup just around the corner, the lineup has been revealed for its first-ever halftime show. This morning (June 9), Colombian superstar J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems were announced as the headliners.

The FIFA Club World Cup is the prelude to next year’s FIFA World Cup. Starting on June 14, 32 soccer club teams from around the world will compete in matches in the U.S. The final match will take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 13. The FIFA Club World Cup will also host its first halftime show that day with headliners J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems.

“From Medellín to MetLife — I’m honored to headline the first-ever halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup final,” J Balvin shared in a statement. “It’s a historic moment — for me, for Latin culture, and for every kid who dreams big.”

J Balvin returned to the public eye at last year’s Coachella music festival. He performed a hits-filled set that included special guest Will Smith. This past year, he performed concerts in arenas across the U.S. on the “Back to the Rayo Tour.” His co-headliners include rap star Doja Cat and Tems, who has brought Afrobeats to the forefront. The show was curated by Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin.

The FIFA Club World halftime show will be streamed live globally on DAZN.com. FIFA partnered with Global Citizen to produce the performance. Proceeds from ticket sales from the FIFA Club World Cup will go towards the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million for children to have access to education around the world.

Next year’s FIFA World Cup will also have a halftime show, and so far, those headliners haven’t been announced yet.
