Tokischa is celebrating being a Pisces in her new single. The Dominican superstar also teamed up with Brazilian DJ Papatinho for “PISCIS,” released last night (March 20). Tokischa shot the sexy music video in Brazil.

Tokischa turned 29 on March 17, which makes her a Pisces. To commemorate the end of Pisces season yesterday, she unleashed “PISCIS,” produced by Papatinho. The Brazilian hit-maker has previously worked with Anitta, Ludmilla, Snoop Dogg, and recently Shakira. Though Tokischa has helped bring dembow music into the mainstream, she has proven that her success isn’t tied to one particular genre. No, she is taking on the sound of Brazilian funk with Papatinho.

“PISCIS” marks Tokischa’s first time embracing the Brazilian funk genre. In the freaky club banger, she sings about her power of persuasion as a Pisces. “I’m Pisces / Water / When I come, the bed floods,” Tokischa boasts in Spanish. Her fierce flow combined with the sound of baile funk makes “PISCIS” her most exciting and irresistible song yet.

The cover art for “PISCIS” shows Tokischa wearing a bikini with the Brazilian flag on it. Earlier this year, she flew to Brazil to film the music video in Rio de Janeiro. In the sizzling video, Tokischa dances and twerks to her song with a group of Brazilian women, and later, she takes a dip in the ocean.

Last May, Tokischa launched her own record label called SOL in partnership with Warner Music Latina. She kicked off that new era in her career with the song “SOL,” the first release from her imprint. All of Tokischa’s singles since then, including “PISCIS,” have come from SOL, which she hopes will also foster new talent. In December, Tokischa teamed up with Nathy Peluso for their genre-bending collaboration “DE MARAVISHA,” which was produced by Skrillex.
