Tenemos CAMBIO! Remezcla congratulates President Obama on this special inauguration day! Americans around the world watched (on TV, on the internet, on facebook....) as Barack H. Obama became the 44th President of the United States. About 2 million people gathered on the National Mall forming a mixed crowd representative of the U.S.’s changing face. Latinos, a large base of support for Obama during his campaign, were also cheering him on in D.C., throughout the U.S., and even in Latin America! The photos after the jump were submitted by spectators worldwide to the New York Times website (which we’re also extremely addicted to... that, and the facebook live stream. Yay for technology!)

Yes, the suspense is killing us too. No matter how much we try and go about business as usual, it’s nearly impossible with our country’s future in limbo.

Will McCain win and make us all want to blow this taco stand? Or will Obama be victorious and give patriotism a much needed makeover? We can only sit in front of a screen and browse election coverage online in anticipation.

So whether you’re tuned into KCRW’s streamlined coverage or watching TV at your desk before convening with your homies later to await results of this historic election, we put together some other clever ways to express how this day is making you feel...
