Samanta (no “h”) Helou is a freelance multimedia journalist. She is currently a Fellow at USC pursuing an M.A. in Arts Journalism. She covers food, culture, music, and Latinx issues using video, text, audio, social media, and interactive elements. Her work has been featured in publications such as LA Weekly, Culture Collide, and Ampersand among others.
