Carin León is finally touring the U.S. again! On Aug. 29, the Mexican singer performed his first tour show at the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver, CO, giving his fans a preview of the nationwide 2024 Boca Chueca Tour’s setlist and stage layout.

Fans can look forward to León singing hits from his latest albums, like Boca Chueca, Vol. 1 (2024), Colmillo De Leche (2023), and Inédito (2021). He also sings his hit collaborations with major artists like Matisse, Kany García, and Grupo Frontera. Moreover, in pure León fashion, he also sings popular covers and medlies of famous techno-banda and banda songs to keep his crowd on their feet.

León starts his heartfelt setlist with “Frené Mis Pies,” and continues with throwback “Secuelas de Amor,” “Como Lo Hice Yo” (originally sung with Matisse), “Te Lo Agradezco” (originally sung with García), and “Bebé No Cambies Tú.” He also sings a snippet of “It Was Always You (Siempre Fuiste Tú)” (originally sung with Leon Bridges) and “El Correcto” (originally performed with Reik).

Other featured songs include “Me La Avente,” “Te Ví Con El,” “Como Duele Equivocarse” (originally sung with Espinoza Paz), “Ojos Cerrados” (originally performed with Banda MS), and “Casi Oficial.” He also croons tunes like “El Amor De Tu Vida” (originally performed with Tony Melendez) and “Cuando La Vida Sea Trago.”

The Hermosillo-born singer also sings hits and covers like “Te Quiero” (originally sung with Hombres G), “1,” “Alch Si” (originally performed with Grupo Frontera), “No Es Por Acá,” and “Una Vida Pasada” (originally sung with Camilo). He then sings “No Sé” (originally sung with Panteón Rococó), “Por Culpa De Un Tercero,” “Que Mas Puedo Pedir,” “Lamentablemente” (originally sung with Pepe Aguilar), and “Necesito Encontrarte.”

León also peppered in other fan favorites, like his version of “La Boda Del Huitlacoche,” medleys of popular techno-banda and banda songs including “Bésame Morenita,” and a tribute to the late Joan Sebastian. To top it all off, he also sang his most popular songs like “El Tóxico” (originally with Grupo Firme), “Primera Cita,” “Aviso Importante (originally performed with Bolela), and his popular covers of Selena Quintanilla’s “Si Una Vez” meshed with Noelia’s “Tú.” He ends his show with “Según Quién” (originally sung with Maluma).

As far as his stage layout goes, his mic stand features a head wearing a lion headdress with feathers, akin to an indigenous headdress. He is also accompanied by his live band.

Up next, León will continue his 2024 Boca Chueca Tour at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA, on Aug. 31.
